Tell us a little bit about yourself:
“I was an avid sportsman. I trained as a competitive swimmer since I was 6 years old under the stewardship of my father, and followed the footsteps of both my father and elder brother to play Water Polo at the Age of 12. As a Water Polo player, I represented Singapore with the National Youth Team and subsequently National Squad. I then went on to play for the National University of Singapore, and served as their Team Captain and Manager in my tertiary education stint. Being a beneficiary of the sport, I am now an ardent supporter of the Singapore Swimming Association. I hope to give back to the sport by supporting the youths in their pursuit of excellence in life.
How did you come to join AAG?
I joined AAG as an intern in the 5th edition of the Varsity Internship Program in 2008. I was attached to my mentor – Executive Director Vincent Koh in my university tenure. And I subsequently decided to delve into the industry as a full fledged advisor in 2011 after my graduation from NUS Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering.
What does AAG mean to you?
I have been brought up in my business by the pioneers of AAG. I owe every bit of success in my business to my mentors and seniors. So to the question of what does AAG mean to me, I will always ardently reply: The World.
